Community users presenting a driver's license or photo ID and proof of address can sign up for a Community Borrower library card at the Circulation Desk. Community users may use books, periodicals, media, research databases, and reference services available in the LCCC Library. (Children under the age of 16 may receive a community borrower card with a parent or guardian present.)
With a Community Borrower library card:
You may check out 10 library books.
You may have a total of 5 OhioLINK items on your library record.
You may use the computers located in the Information Commons on the second floor of the Barbara and Mike Bass Library/Community Resource Center.
The LCCC Library does not provide an InterLibrary loan service for an article to community borrowers. Please check with the Elyria Public Library located on the first floor of the Library for this service.
A Community Borrower card expires four years after the card is issued. To continue borrowing, community borrowers need to renew the library card.
