If you are off-campus, you must prove you are an eligible user before you can use the research databases; this is referred to as "authentication." In general, eligible users include all LCCC/UP students, faculty, and staff who meet the following criteria:
- You must be a currently registered patron at the LCCC Library.
- You have no unpaid fines or overdue material.
When you try to access a database from off-campus, you must:
- Enter your name as it appears on your library/ID card. Enter the 14-digit number appearing above the barcode on your library/ID card.
If you are returned to the authentification page or cannot gain access, please consult the OffCampus Access Guide (link below) or call the Research Desk at 440-366-4106 or toll-free at 1-800-995-5222 ext. 4106.
