According to the FAFSA website (link below):

To make corrections to your online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form, do the following:
 

  1. Select the “Log In” button on fafsa.gov and provide your FSA ID.
  2. Select your role.
  3. On the “My FAFSA” page, select “Make Corrections.”
  4. Create a save key.
  5. Change your information.
  6. Submit your new information.

You can also do the following to make changes to your FAFSA form:
 
  • Write in the corrections or updates on your paper Student Aid Report (SAR), sign it, and mail it to the address provided on the SAR.
  • Check with the financial aid office at the school you plan to attend; the school might be able to make changes for you electronically.

Corrections can include 
  • adding or removing colleges from your application,
  • changing your email or mailing address, and/or
  • correcting any field other than Social Security number.
