Q. Can I save a YouTube video to my flash drive?

No.  YouTube downloads are saved within the YouTube app or website and may only be played within the platform.  This means that you can't save YouTube videos as transferrable files. 

You can

• create a YouTube account,  
• then, once signed in to that account, create and save playlists, or 
• share YouTube videos using various sharing options (email, social networks, etc.)
